Sloan Wainwright will bring her spectacular contralto and her trusted guitar-player and collaborator, Stephen Murphy, and will perform songs from her current critically acclaimed CD Life Grows Back. Defying standard categorization, Life Grows Back sees Sloan demonstrate her easy command of a variety of American musical styles: pop, folk, jazz and blues. Held together by the melodious tone of her rich contralto, the end result is a unique and soulful hybrid.
